AmeriCan Carriage Driver magazine is a quarterly publication focusing on grassroots carriage drivers who enjoy carriage driving in its many forms be it combined driving, pleasure show carriage driving, competitive trail driving, recreational driving or sleighing in the United States and Canada. Each issue contains practical training articles, How To Play ... articles, vehicle and harness reviews, event, show and drive reports, plenty of photos and more. (Please visit the "Current Issue" link at the top of this page for issue details.) 1000 copies of each issue are printed and all are distributed to addresses in the United States, Canada and now also Australia. At the end of each year all four issues, in their entirety, will be available on compact disks in pdf format.
AmeriCan Carriage Driver offers a wide variety of advertising sizes at some of the most reasonable rates in the carriage driving arena for Business Card ads, Quarter Page ads, Half Page ads and Full Page Ads, both in color, and in black and white. Each paid ad also entitles the advertiser to be listed in the appropriate catagories on the ACD website "Advertiser Links" pages.
At AmeriCan Carriage Driver, we prefer display ads that have relevance for our readers. When designing your advertising, please keep in mind that many of our readers are everyday drivers, newer drivers, lower and mid-level competitive drivers and drivers who just enjoy carriage driving for fun and recreation. Single horse and pony drivers are the most common, but there are also pair and tandem drivers, a whole hoard of mini drivers and some very special mule and draft drivers as well. Tailoring your display advertising to these drivers will compliment the mission of this magazine and make the most of your advertising dollar. If you do not have an ad ready, we can design one for you at no cost to you. Of course, you always have refusal on any ad before you purchase. And remember, with our back issues being available on compact disks, your advertising will live on after your initial investment.
Submissions: Display ads may be submitted in a variety of formats. We operate in Adobe Creative Suite 2 and Windows XP Professional. Digitally produced display ads may be submitted as InDesign files, .jpegs, .pdfs, or MS Word files. Care must be taken when producing a .pdf. The original ad must be produced with high resolution photographs (300 dpi) before the completed ad is converted into a .pdf. We can correct other files for quality, but once a .pdf is created, that is an end product. All .pdf files submitted will be printed in the magazine as submitted. Display ads may also be submitted as hard copies which will be scanned into digital files at ACD at no additional cost.
Advertising deadlines are the 20th of January for the Spring Issue mailed February 25th, the 20th of April for the Summer Issue mailed May 25th, the 20th of July for the Fall Issue mailed September 25th and the 20th of October for the Winter Issue mailed November 25th which lines this issue up nicely with the Christmas gift giving season. Submitted materials will only be returned with prepaid packaging and postage.

Credit cards are processed thru Paypal and will show on credit card statements as: "Paypal-American Car". No Paypal account is required. If an e-mail address is submitted with an order, a receipt will be e-mailed to that address from Paypal. Credit cards handled over the telephone or in person are processed in this same fashion.
